T5W | Top 5 Side Ships

Let me start by saying… I really don’t get the whole shipping thing. I also don’t get the OTP thing. I know what it stands for, but I just… I don’t get it! lol As a result, I don’t really have any ships so this was a hard topic for me. Thankfully, a couple people posted early so I was able to get a better idea of what this topic was all about. Here are my top 5 favorite side couples (or ships?)!

Magnus Bane and Alec (The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare): I remember when I first read this series and I loved that they were a couple. I think it was one of the first times I came across an LGBT character (let alone relationship) in a book. It was awesome! I think they’re super adorable.

Lucy and Cameron (More Than This series by Jay McLean): This was another couple that I just fell in love with. I loved the little glimpses of their relationship in the first few books of this series. Lucy was just hilarious and how Cameron was with her just made my heart so happy!

Abe and Amy (Everything All At Once by Katrina Leno): This book isn’t out yet, but it’s still fresh in my brain since I just recently read it. I loved how Amy was with Abe and how Abe was with Amy. They really understood each other and were there for each other. They were adorable! I’ll talk more about them when my review is live closer to the release date.

Finnick and Annie (The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins): They seriously cared for each other and you could tell. Finnick was so gentle and took such good care of Annie. They are utterly adorable. I’m a bit sad you don’t see it as much in the movies.

Lupin and Tonks (Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling): I loved seeing them get together and their short journey through the later novels. It was definitely heartbreaking what happened to them in the end.
